Susan’s Final Performance
In case you missed last night’s finale performance of Susan Boyle singing, “I Dreamed a Dream”, here’s the video from YouTube. I was watching her perform, the judge’s comments and her comments and I’ve got to say I find her so modest, so noble and so believable.
Piers Morgan called Susan his favourite and the most talented performer in the history of the show “Britain’s Got Talent.” Simon spoke of her guts to come back on the show after the nightmare press in the preceding week. He absolutely adores her and acknowledged she had every right to walk away and she could have walked away. He said she, whether she wins or loses, she has the guts to face her critics and she beat them. Now, he says, she can walk away with her head held high.
This lovely woman from West Lothian will, no doubt, be in great demand now her appearances on Britain’s Got Talent has ended. Experts believe that she will probably make more money than Britain’s Got Talent winner of 2007, Paul Potts, who has earned almost £5 million since the show.
There is a possibility that Elaine Paige will sing a duet with her and Andrew Lloyd Webber is speaking of collaboration with her. There is also the chance she will gain a role in a West End show. Her first project though will be an album for Syco, owned by Simon Cowell.
Yes, the dance group Diversity won first prize, but it’s what happens after Britain’s Got Talent is what counts in the real scheme of things. Our Susan Boyle is going to go far.
